What is Fat Injection?
Fat injection is the operation of taking fat cells from one part of the body and injecting them into another part as fillers.
Why is Fat Injection Done?
Wrinkles occur on the face with increasing age. These wrinkles can occur around the eyes and temples, around the lips, forehead and eyebrows. The formation of wrinkles creates an old and unhappy expression on the face. These wrinkles are eliminated to a large extent by filler injection, and the individual gains a more vigorous and happy appearance.
Women with small breasts can also have fuller and sexy breasts and appearance thanks to filler injection. This makes women more aesthetically attractive and increases their self-confidence.
Women with flat hips can also have a fuller and shaped hip with filler injection. The fact that the hip area, which is one of the most physically attractive areas of women, if fuller and shaped, provides a more attractive aesthetic appearance and increases women’s self-confidence.
Individuals who want to plump their lips or make their cheekbones more prominent can also have filler injections.
Fat cells in the body are very good filling materials. Fat cells taken from other parts of the body (usually the abdomen) are injected into the face, breast or hip area and used as fillers, providing an aesthetic appearance for individuals.

Operational Information
In the fat injection operation, local anesthesia is applied to the area where the fat will be removed. Although this region is usually the abdomen, it can also be thighs, buttocks or upper arm region.
After anesthesia, the patient’s fat cells are taken by liposuction with special rods, which we call cannula. No incisions are made in the area. You can have more information about liposuction here.
The removed fat cells go through the purification process in order to remove excess fluids. This process is very important and if it is not done correctly, the injected fat cells die over time and melt away. This makes the result of the operation unsuccessful.
After the purification process, fat cells are injected into the desired area with special cannulas.
After the Operation
There will be pain and swelling after the operation. These pains and swellings will go away in a few days. Pain relievers can be taken.
You can return to work after 1 day, and exercise can be started after 1 week.
