What is Skin Rejuvenation?
These are aesthetic surgery procedures that reduce or eliminate the damage caused by factors such as aging, sun exposure, smoking, alcohol and stress. There are many skin rejuvenation methods. These methods are:
- Chemical peeling,
- PRP treatment,
- Dermabrasion,
- Laser Dermabrasion,
- Mesotherapy
Why is Skin Rejuvenation Done?
External factors such as aging, sun and smoking or genetic factors cause deterioration in the skin. Wrinkles and lines on the skin, acne scars and skin blemishes can be counted among these deteriorations.
These deteriorations create an old, tired and unaesthetic appearance. This can lead to loss of self-confidence in the individual.
Thanks to skin rejuvenation methods, individuals have a healthier and younger skin and appearance, and their self-confidence increases.
Chemical Peel
The chemical peeling method destroys the damaged outer layers of the skin with the help of a special chemical solution. Peeling is generally used on the face. However, apart from the face, it can also be used on the hands or neck area.
The chemical peeling method is recommended for the following patient candidates:
- Individuals with acne scars on the face
- Those with superficial lines or wrinkles
- Individuals with skin pigmentation (different coloration of the skin)
- Individuals with thick and hard skin texture
- Individuals with facial spotting
- Individuals with sun-damaged skin
- Chemical peels do not repair deep scars and wrinkles or sagging skin. Botox, filler or face lift operations can treat these problems.
PRP Treatment
PRP treatment, which means “Platelet Rich Plasma”, is a method of injecting the blood taken from the patient into the skin after being separated from the plasma by a special process. Platelet cells, which are abundant in the blood plasma, help cell renewal in the skin. Therefore, it creates the following effects in the injected areas:
- Increases skin elasticityProvides brighter skin
- Reduces or completely eliminates wrinkles and lines on the skin
- It reduces or eliminates skin blemishes and pigmentations.
- PRP treatment enables the patient to have a healthier and more vibrant skin.
PRP is applied as a few sessions to be repeated once a year.
Dermabrasion and Laser Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion is a method of sanding the scars, scars and shallow wrinkles on the skin with special surgical tools.
Laser dermabrasion is also performed using special lasers, not mechanical methods. Laser dermabrasion performed using Co2 laser is more controlled than mechanical dermabrasion and the recovery time is shorter.
It is applied to patients with the following conditions:
- Individuals with acne or other wounds on the skin
- Individuals with sun-damaged skin
- Individuals with fine lines or wrinkles
- With the dermabrasion method, the upper layers and surface of the skin are sanded and a smoother skin is achieved.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is the method of injecting special mixtures containing vitamins, minerals, enzymes and hyaluronic acid into the middle layer of the skin by micro-injection. In the areas where mesotherapy is applied, the skin is nourished, collagen production is triggered and skin regeneration is provided.
With mesotherapy, the sagging of the skin decreases, the skin color reaches a healthier tone, the skin becomes more moist and fine wrinkles are reduced.
Mesotherapy is applied in a total of 4-6 sessions at intervals of several weeks.
