What is Botox?
Botox is a drug derived from the neurotoxic protein obtained from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It stops nerve transmission in the areas where Botox is applied and paralyzes the muscles in the area. In this way, Botox plays a role in removing wrinkles, reducing sweating and treating migraine.
Why is it done?
Wrinkles occur on the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the eyes and around the lips due to aging, overexposure to the sun, genetic factors and excessive use of facial expressions. These wrinkles create an old and angry expression on the face. Thanks to Botox, the movement of the muscles in the wrinkled area is weakened and reduces wrinkles by reducing the folding of the skin.
Some individuals suffer from excessive sweating due to genetic factors, exercise and diet, and psychological reasons related to stress. This situation can lead to embarrassment and loss of self-confidence due to sweat odor complaints and sweat marks on clothes. In order to reduce excessive sweating, especially in the armpits and palms, botox is injected into the sweat glands in the region, stopping the nerve transfer with the sweat glands, reducing the work of the sweat glands and preventing excessive sweating.
Individuals with migraine pain can also get rid of migraine pain with botox injections made to specific areas in the head and neck regions.

Information About Aesthetic Operation:
Botox, a special drug obtained from Clostridium botulinum bacteria, is applied to the desired area by injection method. Although it seems like an easy operation, it is a procedure that requires expertise. In case of wrong botox application, asymmetric and unwanted images may occur on the face. In addition, it does not solve the problem of migraine and excessive sweating in case of incorrect application. Therefore, it should definitely be applied by specialist physicians.
Botox is not a permanent method. Approximately 3-4 months after the application, partial movement begins in the muscles, and after about 6 months, Botox completely loses its effect. Therefore, botox should be repeated every 4-6 months. Botox procedure applied by specialist physicians can be applied to the individual throughout his/her life.
